LEXI GROSE

Founder

Lexi is an entrepreneur with a passion for fitness, health, and working with children. She has worked as a certified CrossFit coach/trainer at Strive Strength and Conditioning in Bastrop from 2019 thru January 2021.

During her time coaching, Lexi recognized that child care was often a barrier for parents trying to get their workouts in. Always happy to step in and help, the former nanny became known as the “gym mom” because she coached countless classes with kids on her shoulders or babies in her arms! Wild child was born as an opportunity to serve the community while encouraging kids and adults to prioritize fitness, healthy living, and fun!

EVE LYONS

Owner & Director of Wild Child

Eve Lyons is an immigrant from Russia and a proud mother of five, driven by a deep passion for creating safe, engaging spaces where children can thrive. As the owner and director of Wild Child, Eve brings both heart and experience to the role, ensuring every family who walks through the doors feels supported, welcomed, and inspired.
Under her leadership, Wild Child has continued to grow as Bastrop’s go-to indoor playground — a screen-free space where kids can explore and play, and parents can take a well-earned breather.

Nicole Woodall

Play Coach

Nicole has been part of the Wild Child family for 2 and a half years. She is a proud mom of two amazing kids — Olivia (6) and Howard (4). Life is always an adventure with them! A fun fact about Nicole: Olivia and Nicole have been training in jiu-jitsu together for the past 3 years, and they've even competed side by side in competitions. It’s been an incredible bonding experience and a big part of their lives. Nicole is passionate about what she does and love being part of the Wild Child team!

Mónica Contreras

Play Coach

Monica Contreras is a passionate early childhood educator and dedicated mother of a one-year-old. Before embracing motherhood, she worked as a preschool teacher in Austin, where she nurtured young minds and developed a deep understanding of child development. With a genuine love for children and a curiosity for how they grow, Monica brings warmth, patience, and expertise to her role at Wild Child Bastrop. Now serving as a play coach, she’s grateful for the opportunity to support families by providing a safe, engaging, and screen-free childcare environment—while staying close to her own child.

With over three years of experience as a physical education coach and current CPR certification, she brings energy, care, and a strong commitment to helping kids stay active and safe. Daisy is currently in school and working part-time while raising her family. Her passion is promoting healthy lifestyles for children in a clean, engaging, and supportive environment.
